These are quick scribbles which I used to pinpoint areas that needed revisions to the drawing to improve the accuracy of the finished piece.

I occasionally draw other artists’ work as a way of keeping artistically fit and perceptive. Invariably these exercises end up framed on my friends’ walls.

COMMISSIONS

I received a commission to create a drawing in pencil based on a section of an altarpiece painted  by Caravaggio. The Seven Works of Mercy. 1606-1607.
